Curious Children Child Care Center serves the culturally diverse community of South Orange and Maplewood. We provide quality pre-K services and offer parental support for working families in the surrounding communities. We encourage the involvement of parents and guardians in our program.

Curious Children Child Care Center offers not just high-quality child care. We provide a safe, inclusive foundational program that stimulates the child’s curiosity, boosts self-confidence and love of learning, emphasizes safety, respect for others and fosters positive social and educational development.
Our developmentally appropriate approach to early childhood care and education focuses on the whole child. We understand that each child grows and develops at his or her own pace when provided with nurturing guidance and adequate quality age-appropriate materials that allow them to play and grow. Our curriculum fosters confident learning that results in physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth.
The Center operates on the schedule of the South Orange/Maplewood School District.
Classes begin at 8:30am and end at 2:30pm, Mondays through Fridays.
Aftercare services are provided from 3:00pm until 6:00pm
For information on closing due to inclement weather, visit www.somsd.k12.nj.us. For emergency closings not related to weather, we will communicate with you by email as soon as we have determined the need to close.
The Center is located in the South Orange-Vailsburg United Methodist Church at 150 South Orange Avenue, South Orange, New Jersey.
